Happy September! Bring on the crisp weather, long sleeves and yoga socks; shorter days and falling leaves.

This month we have adapted the schedule based on your ebb and flow. We've removed T/TH 8ams, and Fridays at 9:30. However, the 6am series starts on September 10th. There's still room for you if you'd like to join us. A surprising amount of early birds out there. If you're interested in a T/TH 6am class, please let me know. I've already begun a list.

The weekend of September 8th and 9th, Kevin Sutton will be out of town. Samantha Mortimer and I are teaming up for a Saturday morning Pound Fit / Restorative combo from 8-9:30am. When it comes to yin and yang, you can't top this combo. Follow Samantha through an invigorating routine where you'll literally pound yoga mats with drum sticks to high energy music. Expect to sweat, whoop and laugh. Afterwards, I'll guide you through long held stretches that release tight, compacted joints and increase flexibility. Then we'll lay back and relax. Napping is permitted. Go home smooth as butter and relaxed as putty. Class passes from Samantha or Tribe may be used, or drop in for $15.

Kevin's regular weekend classes including the Sunday beginner class is taking a week off while he is away.

Up and Coming:

Tween Tuesdays starts September 25th, 3:30 - 4:30. This class is especially for our Middle Schoolers. The cost is a sliding scale of $5 - $10. Scholarships available if needed. Take the bus to the Boomerang / LA Daily Post building, walk around to the back of the building and come up the external staircase. Mats available.

Finally, are you or someone you know interested in committing to a yoga practice but finances are holding you back? Scholarships are available. Please respond if you are willing to commit to practicing 2-3 times per week.
