Journey's Corner

I don't have to tell you guys how inspirational I am. I think you all feel the love! But I'm SO excited to share a crazy amazing trend I've set with fellow members of the Tribe. Our brand new instructor, Antoinette, connected with me on such a deep level that she was inspired to add a Yorkie to her family. Please join me in welcoming Tiana to Journey's Tribe!

What is this thing with Yoga & Horses?

It’s essentially about learning to live in the moment, in the here and now, just as horses do. Horses teach us to fully enjoy what is happening right now, without judgment, without expectations.

What to expect: Modified Yoga Poses and Restorative Yoga poses on the horse Horse-assisted Yoga poses on the ground. We will be focusing on shoulder, and hip openers. Breathwork will also be explored. What to wear:

- Stretchy long pants - Closed-toe shoes

No previous yoga or horseback riding needed. Yoga with Horses can be for everyone. Bring an open heart, an open mind, and most of all a smile.

Sweet Summer Cocktail

Strawberry Mimosa

  • 2 cups fresh orange juice or premade with pulp

  • 1/2 c sliced/chopped strawberries

  • 1 25oz bottle of champagne

Blend strawberries & OJ in a blender until smooth. Pour champagne into flutes at 45 degree angle until 3/4 full. Top off with strawberry OJ and add garnish of your choice. If you really want to make your mimosas pop, try using a cheap to mid-range Brut or Cava. For a sweeter flavor you could try dry Prosecco.
